SWEET WOODRUFF or LADIES BEDSTRAW
Dense carpet of attractive fine, deep green foliage, topped in spring with bright white heads.
Delightfully scented groundcover for shade. Perfect under trees and shrubs.
Hardy in frost, dry, heat. Edible herb or potpourri.
20cm H x slowly spreading groundcover mat.
SEED SOWING ADVICE:
Sow in punnets when conditions are cool / or scatter in garden in winter-early spring.
Sow in punnets on surface of good quality seed raising mix. Press gently. Barely cover.
Moisten punnet.
Wrap in cling-wrap and keep in fridge (not freezer) for 2 weeks.
Then remove, unwrap, and keep moist in a cool place.
Temperatures around 10°C approx. are best for rapid germination.
Seedlings may begin emerging in approx. 10 days, but some may be slower. Do not discard punnet and continue to keep moist in a cool place.
SEED COUNT: 20 seeds per pack approx.
