Pointed, nodding caps of green & maroon in spring. Charming, hardy bulb, easy to grow. Slender, un-messy foliage. Part shade or Dappled Sun. Suits under trees & shrubs. Leave bulbs for years. No need to dig & replant. Frost hardy. 25cm H x 10cm W.

SEED SOWING ADVICE:

Sow in punnets indoors during autumn/winter/spring / or scatter in garden winter-early spring. Seeds need cold.

Indoors: Sow in punnets on surface of good quality seed raising mix. Press gently. Barely cover seeds with mix/grit/sand. Then cling wrap punnet & place in fridge (not freezer) for 4-6 weeks. Unwrap & remove to unheated, cool, light place. Most seedlings should emerge in 30 days. But do not discard. Some seeds may come later.
