Blooms of white, pink, or red, with winged flowers autumn to spring. Decorative, silver laced foliage. Tough, frost hardy bulb. Easy to naturalize in dry shade under trees & shrubs, where it self-sows as a carpet. Summer dormant. Water-wise. Low maintenance. 15cm H x 30cm W.

SEED SOWING ADVICE:

Best sown late autumn or winter. Soak seeds in warm water with a little detergent for 24 hours, then rinse thoroughly in fresh water before sowing.  Sow in punnets on surface of good quality seed raising mix. Lightly cover with mix or fine gravel to depth equal to diameter of seeds. Cover punnet with dark lid. Keep moist & dark at approx. 16C. for rapid germination. Most seed should germinate in 28-42 days, but some may be longer so do not discard punnet.
